The TTS Block Positioning Units provide a single low cost tool for increasing throughput capacity in drydocks or on slipways.
The BPU is a tool for the complete micro positioning/holding task of the double bottom block. This task is normally performed by large shipyard cranes and by using BPUs, the cranes will be free to perform other tasks, increasing the shipyards throughput capacity significally.
The BPU s can be operated under a block with a minimum of 3 units. 4 units is the most frequently used setup. But even more units can be added to position larger blocks or ring units.
